Product Marketing Specialist

Marketware is looking for an ambitious, curious mind that is a team player and can lead as well. Success for the product marketing specialist will be to own the B2B go-to-market strategy for current and future products introduced to the market. This role will be focused on informing internal product strategy, creating product demand, and driving adoption across our client base. This role will report to the VP of Marketing and will work closely with various cross-functional teams throughout all phases of product development and go-to-market, including product management, marketing, sales, client success.
 

Responsibilities Include:

  • A deep understanding of the Marketware product suite functionality, place in the market, competition, and end customer/user needs
  • Go-to-market strategy, positioning, and launch plans inclusive of beta launches to validate product viability, ensuring the products we launch effectively communicate and deliver a value-add for Marketware clients
  • Collaboration with product management both pre-and post-product launch to ensure proper marketing positioning and value-alignment of product solutions and enhancements
  • Collaboration with Marketing to create materials that clearly position the value proposition
  • Interface with the CS team to educate them on product, positioning, and ROI
  • Collaboration with the demand generation team to execute the external communication portion of the go-to-market strategy, and to measure performance and optimize future
  • Competitive and market intelligence that influences packaging, positioning and pricing
  • Speaking on webinars or at conferences on behalf of marketing
     

Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, ideally in a marketing related field
  • 3-5 years experience, with a history working with technology product and engineering teams
  • Proven experience managing, developing, and executing go-to-market plans
  • Strong collaboration and leadership skills
  • Strong initiative (self-starter)
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and priorities
  • Accepting of change and unexpected
